​Our Story: A Family Rooted in Two Worlds

Vila das Acácias is more than just a luxury retreat—it is a reflection of our family's journey. Patricia’s Portuguese roots run deep in Alenquer. Though she was raised in the Netherlands, her ties to this charming village never faded. Her parents, Portuguese immigrants, instilled in her the values of family, tradition, and an enduring love for her homeland.

Together with my husband Pieter, a Dutchman from Brabant—where family and hospitality are equally cherished—we built a home that bridges these two worlds. Our children are raised embracing both Dutch pragmatism and Portuguese warmth, embodying a heritage of connection and belonging.

Vila das Acácias was created as a second home for our family, but its doors are open to all who seek the same sense of belonging, comfort, and the unmistakable magic of Alenquer.
